About the Role
Seeking a qualified and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The Physical Therapist will work with students (PreK–12) who have physical disabilities or developmental challenges to help improve their mobility, access to learning environments, and overall independence in the school setting.
Requirements
Evaluate and assess students with physical challenges impacting educational access.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs.
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success.
Train school staff in positioning, mobility, and assistive equipment use.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all federal/state guidelines.
Licensed Physical Therapist
Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Pediatric experience preferred, particularly in school or educational settings
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of IDEA and IEP process
