About the Role
Spectrum Support Services is looking for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Bergen County, NJ. You'll work with individuals with autism, neurodiversity, and intellectual and developmental disabilities — providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in school and community settings.

What you'll be doing:
Evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans in coordination with IEP teams
Providing direct SLP services in school and community settings across Bergen County
Attending IEP meetings and collaborating with BCBAs, OTs, PTs, and teachers
Maintaining documentation compliant with NJ state requirements and ASHA standards
Requirements
NJ Certification: Speech Language Specialist required for School employment
Proficient in evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders
Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, treatment services and evaluations for individuals with multiple disabilities - preferred.
Experience with students with neurodiversity and intellectual and developmental disabilities
Experience treating speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders
Ability to work collaboratively with professionals from many disciplines
Strong instructional background
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience working with at-risk students
Attend Individual Educational Plan (IEP) meetings
New Jersey Educational Services certificate with Speech Language Specialist endorsement or eligible for New Jersey certification.
New Jersey License or ASHA certification required
